Incentives and Rebates
Offset the Cost of your EV Charger and Installation

Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming increasingly popular, and installing a home charging station can enhance the convenience of owning an EV. To support this transition, various federal, state, and utility incentives are available to offset the costs of purchasing and installing EV chargers.

At the completion of your charger installation, necessary documents will be provided by the electrician to apply for these incentives and rebates.

Below is a comprehensive guide to these incentives for New Jersey residents.

Federal Incentives

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

The federal government offers a tax credit for the installation of EV charging equipment. This credit covers up to 30% of the cost, not exceeding $1,000 for residential installations.

For detailed information and eligibility requirements, please visit the IRS website at Clean Vehicle and Energy Credits.
