Yes. The Universal Wall Connector has a built-in J1772 adapter and charges every EV brand sold in North America. The standard Wall Connector uses Tesla's NACS connector, which many new EV brands now support natively, and can charge others with an adapter.

Do I need solar panels to install Powerwall 3?

No. Powerwall 3 charges directly from the grid. You still get whole-home outage protection, Storm Watch pre-charging before severe weather, and Time-Based Control to use cheap off-peak power. Solar can be added later if you ever want it.

One Powerwall 3 delivers 11.5 kW of continuous power, which covers most homes without load shedding. Each unit stores 13.5 kWh, and a system can expand up to 54 kWh with Powerwall 3 Expansion units at any time, so you can start with one and grow.

Powershare home backup currently supports Cybertruck. Homes without Powerwall need a Universal Wall Connector and Powershare Gateway; homes with an existing Powerwall and Wall Connector typically need no additional equipment.
